The House Party Tasting

Perfect for groups of 8–20. Michael guides your group through a curated flight of wines with stories behind every bottle. Great for birthdays, housewarming parties, girls’ nights, and couples’ nights. Approximately 90 minutes of guided tasting and conversation.

The Bachelorette & Bridal Tasting

Celebrate the bride with a private sommelier-led experience in your home or rental. Choose a theme—rosé all day, bubbles and Champagne, wines of Italy—and let Michael create a tasting that’s as fun as it is elegant. We’ll work with your timeline, décor theme, and group size.

The Corporate Tasting

Team building, client entertainment, or executive retreats. Michael brings the same polish he’s delivered for Fortune 500 companies to your Detroit-area office, venue, or private event space. Available as a standalone experience or paired with a dinner or reception.

The Date Night Tasting

An intimate guided tasting for two, right at your dining table. Michael curates a flight and walks you through each wine. It’s the ultimate at-home date night—no reservations needed.

How to Book Your Detroit In-Home Tasting

Step 1: Tell us about your event. Fill out our quick inquiry form with your date, group size and any preferences.

Step 2: Get your custom proposal. Michael personally designs a tasting experience around your goals, budget and palate.

Step 3: Show up to your own party. We handle everything else. You just enjoy.

Detroit Wine Tasting FAQ

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend at least 2–3 weeks for most events, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter timelines. Popular dates around holidays and wedding season fill fast.

Do I need to provide the wine?

You purchase the wine—we’ll tell you exactly what to get and where to find it locally, or we can curate a list for you to order. Bottles Nation does not sell wine, which means our recommendations are always unbiased. We are able to either grab the wine from a local shop or have it ready for you to pickup after it’s purchased.

What’s included in the tasting experience?

Michael brings the bottles/drinks, educational materials, and his expertise. You provide the wine, glassware (we’ll advise on what you need), and the space. We handle the rest. Bottles Nation also rents out glassware and can bring a charcuterie board and desserts for an additional fee.

Can you do events at a venue instead of my home?

Absolutely. We host events at restaurants, event spaces, offices, Airbnbs—anywhere in metro Detroit that works for your group.
